Kaki tree peace event

12 April 2pm

On August 9th 1945, an atomic bomb devastated the Japanese city of Nagasaki. Amazingly, a Kaki Tree (Diaspyros kaki) survived the blast, and its offspring planted around the world as symbols of peace. Nearly seventy years on, please join us in Barracks Lane Community Garden as we celebrate our Bombed Kaki tree Jr of Nagasaki
